If transitioning is a process of body actualization to bring peace then to achieve this peace there is first conflict. A seed sown in fall must incubate within the harsh winter to bloom in spring and thrive in summer. To be shaped by surgery is to experience pain, to risk infection, to delay routine in order to experience a flash of Utopia. Then let us think of transitioning as a celebration of the seasons. To be born again, and again, in new bodies, in new seasons. To bloom, wilt, and die; sowing the seeds for yet another new body.
“God is Change
And hidden within Change
Is surprise, delight,
Confusion, pain,
Discovery, loss,
Opportunity, and growth.
As always,
God exists
To shape
And to be shaped.”
The Book of the Living, Verse 48
